The Universe of Knowledge 2024
From 26 to 28 September 2024 the Indological Society «Luigi Pio Tessitori» and the Department of Languages, Communication, Education and Society of the University of Udine, in collaboration with Mittelfest/Mittelland, the Association Pierluigi Cappello and Arsnova FVG, organised the third edition of The Universe of Knowledge in Cividale del Friuli.

The main focus of the meeting was on the writings of travellers and scholars on India since the Middle Ages and the relationship between philosophy, yoga and sustainability. The scheduled lectures introduced the audience to topics such as intuitive thinking, intercultural philosophy, poetic language, yoga philosophy, virtual reality and sustainable development. During the meeting, the publication of the volume The Universe of Knowledge. Celebrating Shiyali Ramamrita Ranganathan (1892-1972) was announced. The book is the result of the conference organised by the Indological Society «Luigi Pio Tessitori» in Udine on 21st October 2022.
